Job summary

JVC Northwest seeks a Fisheries Technician to join the KRITFC Salmon Biology team for 12 months across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska. You will collect and analyze salmon and environmental data at remote field sites, assist with field logistics, and share outreach on salmon science with Tribes, schools, and the public.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• BS in Fisheries, Ecology, Biology or related field preferred.
• Experience with ArcGIS and RStudio is a plus; familiarity with MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze salmon and environmental data at remote field sites.
• Coordinate field project logistics and engage with Tribes, schools, and the public.
• Draft project reports and support KRITFC’s salmon science and funding proposals.
