Job description

The Metzen Agency is looking for an Insurance Broker to join our team.

This person will actively seek out and engage prospective customers, follow our sales process & system to find success, be coachable, and eager to learn!

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, disciplined, and passionate about helping others.

We seek individuals who love to learn, are not afraid of challenges, and can stay well-managed.

Responsibilities:

  1. Learn our sales system, schedule appointments, and meet with clients virtually. Conduct initial phone discovery to match clients with suitable insurance solutions, and present options through consultative appointments following our process.
  2. Develop and foster relationships by maintaining close communication with clients to ensure policies are correctly placed and clients are protected.
  3. Assist clients effectively to generate referral opportunities and grow your portfolio and impact.
  4. Meet and exceed targets by achieving monthly and quarterly individual goals.
  5. Track progress and results, including activity and key metrics, to enable coaching and growth.
  6. Learn and grow by understanding products, carriers, and our process to better serve clients and help them achieve their goals.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience selling a product or service.
  • Extremely coachable and motivated.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed goals.
  • Advanced communication, selling, and negotiating skills.
  • Strong drive to understand and meet prospective customer needs.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, Google Suite, and ability to work remotely.
