Job summary

Aktion Associates is seeking a Sage Intacct Application Consultant to support and lead client implementations with emphasis on construction industry clients. This remote role offers the flexibility to work from home while collaborating with a nationwide team across the U.S. and Canada.

You will leverage Sage Intacct expertise along with construction domain knowledge to configure financial workflows, reporting needs, and ensure client success. Midwest travel up to 20% is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience with Sage Intacct ERP software.
• Demonstrated accounting/financial skill.
• Prior experience in the construction industry is required, either in a consulting role or in a financial leadership position (e.g., Controller, CFO, Project Accountant, or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support client software implementations, with a focus on construction industry clients.
• Apply both Sage Intacct expertise and construction-specific knowledge to guide customers through system configuration, financial workflows, and reporting needs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving questions, tracking issues, and escalating according to company guidelines.
• Utilize and follow Aktion's methodology to achieve successful client implementation.
• Proactively communicate with clients and team to achieve exceptional client satisfaction.
