PerkinElmer is seeking a Safety & EHS Director for Project Farma. The role leads the EHS program across the Americas, setting regional strategy and governance for all sites and field operations, while collaborating with PerkinElmer’s Global EHS team. Domestic travel is required to meet client project requests.

The incumbent will drive regulatory compliance, safety culture and sustainability initiatives, with billable targets of +/- 20% and close interaction with regional leadership.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, health, engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred in safety, management or engineering.
• Professional EHS certifications (CSP/CIH/CHMM).
• Experience leading EHS across multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. EHS regulations and travel readiness.
• Travel up to 30–40% across the Americas.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Project Farma EHS strategy and roadmap aligned with global EHS.
• Implement EHS policies across Project Farma and field operations.
• Governance oversight of EHS management system regionally.
• Advise leadership on EHS risk and regulatory trends; report performance.
• Define EHS KPIs and indicators; report regionally and globally.
• Foster an active safety culture and conduct investigations for incidents.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and plan for regulatory changes.
• Lead emergency preparedness and business continuity planning.
• Manage EHS due diligence for acquisitions and site closures.
• Collaborate with Global EHS and regional leaders to share best practices.

Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering or a related field

CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist)
