Job summary

Amp Americas is seeking a Director of Business Development in Chicago to drive RNG offtake transactions and open new markets for carbon-negative RNG assets. You will originate and execute both short-term and multi-year opportunities, building a robust pipeline and coordinating across finance, legal, and operations to ensure deal integrity.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will represent Amp at industry conferences, craft customer education materials, and contribute to a strategic

Qualifications

• 5-10 years' experience in energy origination and transactional structuring.
• Experience sourcing and closing short-term (0–3 year) transactions.
• Experience developing longer-term (>3 year) market opportunities and multi-year offtake contracts.
• Familiarity with RFS/RINs, LCFS accounting, and voluntary markets.
• Strong written and verbal communication, executive-level presence.

Responsibilities

• Lead short-term RNG transactions and term sheets through to close.
• Identify longer-term market opportunities and develop viable offtake pipelines.
• Own CRM-tracked pipeline for short and long-term commercial offtake opportunities.
• Coordinate pricing, credit, scheduling, measurement, and settlements with cross-functional teams.
• Represent Amp at industry events and prepare customer education materials.
