Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking an RN Telephonic Case Manager to join our US telecommuter team. You will partner with injured workers, employers, and providers to design a case management strategy that promotes medical recovery and a successful return to work through advocacy and coordination.

Must reside in the United States, hold an active RN license with a compact license, and have 1.5 years of workers’ compensation experience. We offer a remote work environment and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Current unrestricted RN license in the United States.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Certification in case management or rehabilitation nursing is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial and ongoing clinical assessment via telephone to evaluate injury, treatment, psychosocial needs and support systems.
  • Communicate effectively with claims examiner, client, injured worker, attorney and supervisor.
  • Identify delays in recovery and return‑to‑work issues and problem solve.
  • Negotiate treatment and disability duration with providers following guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities to expedite care for cost containment.
  • Provide recommendations for alternative clinical resources to support claim resolution.
  • Maintain client privacy and adhere to regulatory standards.
