Job summary

Evernorth Health Services is seeking a Part-time RN Health Coach to support wellness journeys remotely from your Texas home office. Responsibilities include coaching via video/phone, stress and depression screening, and developing personalized health plans for clients.

Requirements include an active RN license, 1+ year in health coaching or education, ACLS/BLS certification, and strong presentation skills. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN with an active, unrestricted license in the state.
• Minimum 1 year of health coaching, health education or health promotion experience.
• Compact license or additional state licenses may be required.
• Current ACLS/BLS/CPR/AED certification.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• 3+ years RN experience in a hospital or provider setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer coaching via video and phone focusing on stress, anxiety and depression.
• Screen stress, anxiety and depression.
• Identify health education needs through targeted health assessment activities.
• Refer customers to Evernorth clinical programs or client programs as clinically appropriate.
• Collaborate to establish health improvement plans and goals with customers.
• Coach customers to be active participants in their health outcomes.
• Lead health and wellness promotional activities.
• Use biometric values and motivational interviewing to drive improved outcomes.
• Collaborate with matrix partners to support client health strategy.
• Develop action plans that deliver clinical value for customers and clients.
• Mentor new employees as needed.
