Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies, a technology consulting and software development company, seeks an experienced Reinforcement Learning Engineer to design and implement RL solutions for complex decision tasks. You will build and calibrate simulation environments, evaluate modern RL algorithms, and develop robust training pipelines.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, ML, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Six+ years of RL research and engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and modern deep learning frameworks.
• Experience with RL libraries or in-house RL stacks.
• Experience training neural network policies on GPU clusters.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement reinforcement learning solutions for sequential decision-making in real and simulated environments.
• Develop, calibrate, and maintain simulation environments for large-scale agent training.
• Implement and evaluate modern RL algorithms including policy gradient, actor-critic, and off-policy methods.
• Engineer reward functions and shaping strategies aligned with outcomes and safety constraints.
• Apply offline RL and imitation learning where exploration is costly or unsafe.
• Build scalable training infrastructure for distributed RL and efficient experience collection.
• Monitor deployed policies for drift and unintended behaviors; establish dashboards and alerts.
• Document methodology and decisions for internal stakeholders.
