Baptist Health is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist to research denials from commercial and governmental payors and perform payor compliance reviews to ensure medical necessity and timely reimbursement. This remote role requires residency in KY, IN, or IL and involves obtaining pre-authorizations and responding to account reviews to maximize revenue.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree or five years of healthcare experience including two years in revenue cycle activities such as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of two years healthcare experience.
• Equivalent: five years healthcare experience with two years in revenue cycle (registration, patient financial services, or managed care).

Responsabilités

• Research denials from all payors and perform payor compliance review to determine medical necessity and ensure reimbursement.
• Obtain pre- determinations, prior authorizations, retro authorizations as required and respond to reviews to recover revenue.
