Job summary

FuturePlan, part of Ascensus, seeks a Compliance professional with advanced understanding of retirement plans. The role supports complex interactions with Plan Consultants and ensures accuracy and regulatory compliance across plan types.

Key duties include translating plan provisions, applying IRS/DOL/ERISA regulations, and supporting audits and client communications. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3 to 8+ years of hands-on Retirement plan testing experience will be considered.
• Experience with plan testing and retirement provisions.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend retirement plan provisions from plan documents and related materials to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Apply IRS, DOL, and ERISA regulations when preparing and interpreting information.
• Support DOL, IRS, and Large plan audits.
• Assist Plan Consultants in resolving operational and compliance issues related to qualified plans.
• Manage plan administration, compliance and testing for identified blocks of business.
• Track and monitor data to meet compliance deadlines.
• Prepare annual valuation and compliance reports for clients.
• Provide consultations with Plan Consultants in drafting plan documents and amendments.
• Support quality assurance reviews and protect confidential data.
