Designer Brands is seeking a Store Construction Project Manager to lead end-to-end store builds nationwide. This hands-on, fast-paced role is a full-time CONTRACT that is REMOTE, guiding projects from initial drawings to final walkthrough and ensuring brand alignment.

You’ll manage bidding, drawings, schedules, RFIs, budgets, and travel up to 30% across regions, collaborating with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to deliver quality spaces on time.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and collaboration across internal partners, contractors, vendors, and design teams.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Experience managing budgets and project spend with a practical eye for cost control.
• Proactive problem-solving and risk mitigation for complex retail builds.

Responsibilities

• Lead the competitive bidding process from contractor evaluation to award recommendations.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and brand alignment.
• Oversee day-to-day tasks: RFIs, updates, schedules, and pay applications.
• Travel up to 30% to support projects across regions.
• Lead weekly project meetings and provide proactive updates.
