Job summary

Turing is seeking candidates with strong experience in retail business operations, multi-store management, and team leadership for roles overseeing store performance, merchandising, and customer experience.

The day-to-day involves designing scenarios to test AI reasoning, writing structured solutions on inventory, staffing, merchandising, and performance optimization, and evaluating AI outputs for clarity and relevance. This is a fully remote contractor assignment with potential extension.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a General Manager, Operations Manager, or Retail Leader.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, supply chain coordination, and sales execution strategies.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Operations, or Retail Management preferred.
• Excellent English communication and analytical reasoning skills.
• Candidate must be based out of the US.

Role Overview:

• In this role, you will be working on projects to help evaluate and improve AI using your business and retail operations expertise.
• No prior AI experience is required.
• These projects will help you learn how to leverage AI to enhance decision-making, improve sales performance, and optimize end-to-end retail operations.
