Job summary

CLEAResult is hiring a Residential Energy Auditor to act as the local on-site representative for residential customers. You will install energy-efficient equipment, conduct energy audits, verify installations, and gather technical data across a defined territory.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or higher, are comfortable with Microsoft Office, and possess strong communication and organizational skills. This role offers a remote position within Tennessee with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher preferred; high school diploma acceptable.
• BPI, QCI, or HERS certification preferred.
• Experience in residential energy conservation or weatherization desirable.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, reporting, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs and access tight spaces; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with residential customers and contractors.
• Record contractor interactions and verify installations meet program savings.
• Inform, educate, and train contractors about the program.
• Provide ongoing assistance to property owners and contractors to complete projects.
• Document interactions and provide status updates to program staff.
• Act as on-site program representative to encourage participation and troubleshoot problems.
