Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Research Associate to support department studies across multiple sites. You will manage timelines, assist investigator-initiated trials with REDCap, and perform data abstraction for large longitudinal studies.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Health Science or related field and about 2 years of health research experience. You will liaise with IRB, manage regulatory docs, and help prepare abstracts and manuscripts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health science or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in health-related research (outcomes research, epidemiology, data science, public health).
• Ability to understand and communicate study protocols clearly.
• Experience writing SOPs or experimental protocols is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a supporting research associate on department studies across multiple sites. Manages timelines and deliverables.
• Supports investigator-initiated trials with REDCap project build and ongoing support
• Performs data abstraction and reporting for a large longitudinal study
• Ensures completion and documentation of regulatory materials, source documentation, data collection, and study records in a timely manner.
• Ensures study team conducts research ethically and safely per policies and regulatory standards.
• Provides support to the manager and investigators on project procedures and policies.
• Supports investigators in preparing abstracts, manuscripts, posters, and presentations
• Interfaces with the IRB and AARI/AAH offices to facilitate support and reporting
• Coordinates project meetings among investigators, teams and collaborators to ensure success.
