Job summary

Vanderbilt Health’s Genetic Medicine Lab seeks a Research Analyst I to support research on inherited cancer predisposition, germline/tumor genomics, and outcomes/care delivery. Hybrid role with possible remote work depending on the candidate.

The role involves contacting participants by phone/email, data collection, and assisting in enrollment for approved protocols under supervision. Term position with clinical research exposure in a leading university health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience.
• Less than 1 year of experience in research, healthcare, public health, or data management.
• HIPAA compliance and maintaining research records are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment and enrollment of participants for approved research protocols under direct supervision.
• Disseminate study questionnaires, collect participant responses, and abstract data from medical records.
• Maintain research records and HIPAA-compliant documentation.
• Monitor inventory of study supplies and materials.
• Participate in research meetings with the research team.
• May supervise student assistants and perform other duties as assigned.
