Placements24 is seeking an AI Research Scientist specializing in reinforcement learning to advance autonomous decision‑making. The role is fully remote, enabling collaboration across borders while tackling foundational RL challenges and translating them into real‑world systems.

You will design and conduct experiments, develop new RL algorithms, and publish results in leading conferences. A PhD and strong publication record are required, with proficiency in Python and DL frameworks.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field.
• Strong publication record in top AI/ML venues (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI).
• Deep theoretical and practical RL experience (Q-learning, Policy Gradients, Actor-Critic).
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cutting-edge research in reinforcement learning and develop new algorithms.
• Design and run experiments to test RL using simulations and real-world data.
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate research prototypes into AI systems.
• Analyze results and communicate findings via publications and reports.
