Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a reimbursement coordinator to collect and manage account payments and submit claims to insurance companies. The position is eligible for 100% remote work, with residence in a state Enhabit operates.

Responsibilities include completing daily billing tasks, maintaining accounts, collecting information for claims, submitting claims, resubmitting denied claims, and preparing appeals. Requires HS diploma and privacy of remote work policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of Medicare or related billing experience preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.
• Fluent in English with strong communication and listening skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Complete billing tasks daily; ensure minimal write off of reimbursement dollars.
• Monitor and maintain assigned accounts.
• Collect all the necessary information to prepare insurance claims.
• Submit clean claims timely and appropriately to various insurance companies; complete submissions electronically or by paper according to payor guidelines.
• Research, correct, and resubmit rejected and denied claims.
• Prepare appeals to denied claims.
• Complete all other tasks as assigned.
