Job summary

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our network of clinicians. This position offers 40 hours per week, 100% remote telehealth work, Monday through Friday with no weekends or holidays, and an annual salary of $65,000-$75,000 depending on experience.

You will conduct nutrition assessments, develop evidence-based care plans for acute conditions, provide education to patients and families, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field.
• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD/RDN).
• Current state licensure/certification (if mandated by state).
• Minimum of 2-3 years of recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Proficiency in enteral and parenteral nutrition support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients at nutritional risk.
• Develop, implement and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
• Offer nutrition education and counseling to patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other care team members.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Maintain thorough electronic medical record documentation in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor patients for acute changes and adjust nutrition interventions promptly.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education.
