Job summary

Merck invites applications for the role of Associate Director, Regional Clinical Liaison – HIV Treatments (U.S.). This field-based position requires building scientific engagement with Key Opinion Leaders, clinicians, and regional health leaders across the US.

You will collaborate with Medical Affairs, Sales, Marketing and Market Access to translate clinical evidence into strategic plans, support congresses, and ensure compliant communications in HIV treatment areas.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical degree required (PharmD, DNP/NP/PA)
• Board certification or equivalent clinical specialization (infectious diseases, internal medicine, pharmacy)
• Current US licensure/credentialing
• Minimum 4 years clinical experience in the US with HIV-related care or public health experience

Responsibilities

• Serve as field-based Regional Clinical Liaisons for HIV Treatments, providing approved, on-label scientific and clinical expertise to HCPs and regional leaders.
• Expand regional scientific presence by translating approved evidence and labeling into practice.
• Create a regional feedback loop to inform headquarters about KOL networks and engagement barriers.
• Attend key sales meetings and national congresses as needed.
• Operate in compliance with company policies and standards.
