Mirum Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Regional Business Director to lead 7 Regional Account Managers in California. The role translates national strategy into local execution, drives field coaching, and builds a culture of accountability and patient focus.

You will work with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Operations to shape regional plans, optimize performance, and ensure compliant, ethical engagement across rare disease channels.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive commercial experience in pharma/biotech.
• 3+ years of first-line sales leadership with direct team responsibility.
• Experience in rare disease, orphan drugs, or highly specialized markets.
• Ability to translate strategy into regional plans and coach field teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 70%.

Responsibilities

• Translate national priorities into a regional business plan with clear objectives.
• Lead field coaching, performance reviews, and development plans.
• Partner across Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Operations.
• Manage budget, forecast, and resource allocation for the region.
• Ensure strong clinical credibility and patient-focused engagement.
