Job summary
AVANA Companies seeks a Senior Vice President - Business Development Officer (SBA & CRE) to drive loan origination and growth nationwide. You will connect borrowers, brokers, and influencers with financing options, structuring and closing CRE and SBA 504 loans, and lead a high-performance team.
This role offers base salary plus commission with remote work flexibility across AZ, TX, UT, NY; occasional travel to Peoria, AZ may be required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- 8+ years of sales experience in CRE and SBA.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and meet targets.
Responsibilities
- Source, structure and originate CRE and SBA 504 loans.
- Evaluate borrower financials and collateral per underwriting policy.
- Coordinate with underwriting and closing teams for timely funding.
- Build and manage a pipeline to meet quarterly/annual loan production goals.
- Cultivate relationships with developers, brokers, and clients to generate leads.
