Job summary

Safe Streets seeks an Installation Technician to travel to residential appointments, install security cameras, and ensure systems operate correctly. You will install, configure, and test equipment, then document work and explain the installed system to homeowners.

The role emphasizes safety, independence, and a steady daily schedule of 5–7 installations, with PPE provided and ongoing training at $22/hr. A valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance are required.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic with ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel to multiple installation locations daily.
• Detail-oriented and safety-conscious.
• No sales background required; training provided.
• Reliable vehicle plus a valid driver’s license.
• Proof of vehicle insurance (minimum 100/300/100).
• Previous installation/technical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to scheduled residential appointments to install security cameras.
• Configure equipment per company standards and test functionality.
• Document installations and provide a homeowner overview of the system.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment.
• Complete approximately 6–7 installations per day.
