Job summary

You will begin with direct training from senior staff until proficient, contributing to statewide investigations and ensuring high standards across cases in a full-time on-site position at MSP labs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in forensic science, natural science, or a related pure or applied science.
• Forensic Scientists at levels 9-11 require progressive professional experience in a crime laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Examine forensic evidence in toxicology for criminal cases.
• Testify in court as an expert.
• Conduct crime scene investigations and evidence collection.
• Support validation of new methods, equipment and instruments.
• Perform duties in a bias-free manner.
