Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Texas law license in good standing.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Effective courtroom, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage cases, deadlines, and client expectations professionally.

Responsibilities

• Manage family law matters from inception through resolution.
• Advise and communicate regularly with clients.
• Draft pleadings, motions, judgments, orders, discovery, and legal correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions, hearings, mediation, and trial.
• Attend court appearances, conferences, mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively for clients.
• Communicate professionally with opposing counsel, court personnel, experts, and third parties.
• Maintain organized and accurate case files.
• Record billable time consistently in accordance with firm policies.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and firm leadership.
• Participate in professional-development and internal attorney-training programs.
