Job summary

Nexus Jobs Limited seeks a Frontend Software Developer with React to lead the frontend of an eCommerce site and internal apps for a Luxury Travel Company. You’ll work with backend, design, and CMS to deliver polished UI/UX and faster page loads.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years of React/HTML/JavaScript experience, strong CSS, and familiarity with REST APIs. Role is remote with London-based client offices in mind.

Qualifications

• Excellent working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS & React Framework.
• Experience delivering multiple responsive websites.
• Able to develop from wireframes and full designs.
• Experience with CMS integration, preferably Umbraco.
• Comfortable working with REST APIs and common data formats (JSON, XML, SOAP).
• Familiar with SEO best practices and Lighthouse performance checks.
• Experience in an Agile/Kanban environment with JIRA and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Own the frontend of the eCommerce website and drive continual improvements.
• Collaborate with backend developers and design resources to enhance UI/UX.
• Participate in design discussions and represent the customer perspective on usability.
