Job summary

Handshake is seeking registered diagnostic medical sonographers to support AI research through flexible, part-time contract work. You’ll apply your ultrasound expertise across abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, small parts, and musculoskeletal imaging to evaluate AI-generated content and provide feedback that helps AI reason like a practicing sonographer.

The Handshake AI program runs year-round, with project opportunities opening periodically across different areas of expertise.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited sonography program and hold a bachelor’s degree.
• RDMS credential from ARDMS.
• Experience in abdominal, obstetric/gynecologic, vascular, musculoskeletal imaging.

Responsibilities

• Create expert-level tasks from ultrasound lab workflows for imaging and reporting.
• Review AI-generated responses for accuracy and safety.
• Provide structured written feedback to improve AI models.
• Work remotely at your own pace with no set schedule.
