Job summary

Thriveworks Administrative Services, LLC is seeking a Revenue Cycle Management Director to lead patient AR, eligibility, insurance AR, denials, and the vendor relationship. This remote role requires strategic oversight of cash flow, KPIs, and process improvements across the RCM function.

You will collaborate with patient services, credentialing, contracting, and product teams to optimize the patient financial journey while ensuring compliance and measurable financial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive RCM leadership experience, including insurance AR and denial management.
• Experience managing outsourced RCM vendors or BPO partners.
• Strong understanding of payer policies, regulatory requirements, and multi-state billing environments.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and drive measurable financial outcomes.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Patient AR and credit balance workflows to improve collections and reduce aging.
• Oversee patient eligibility, billing calls, and related processes with cross-functional teams.
• Manage insurance AR and denial reduction initiatives and write-off governance.
• Develop and deliver RCM training, SOPs, and knowledge resources.
• Set strategic direction for cash flow improvement and KPI monitoring.
