Job summary

Medical Review Institute of America (MRIoA) invites board-certified radiologists to perform independent utilization reviews remotely as flexible 1099 contractors. This role requires 1–2 hours per week with no minimum commitment, and you may work from anywhere in the United States while complying with HIPAA and MRIoA policies.

Applicants must hold an MD or DO, a current state medical license, and radiology board certification (IR/DR).

Qualifications

• Must have a Medical Degree (MD or DO).
• Current STATE unencumbered medical license.
• Board Certification in Radiology, IR/DR certified.
• 5 years of clinical experience recommended.
• Daytime availability for peer-to-peer conversations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent Utilization Reviews in Interventional Radiology.
• Participate in peer-to-peer conversations during daytime hours.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality when handling patient records.
