Job summary

SimonMed is seeking a Remote Radiologist to interpret diagnostic imaging studies from a remote setting using advanced teleradiology technology. You will deliver prompt, accurate reports and communicate critical findings across locations, collaborating virtually with technologists and staff to maintain image quality and protocol adherence.

The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, board-eligible/certified radiology credentials, and multi-state licensure.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Radiology Residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or equivalent).
• Active and unrestricted medical licenses in applicable practice states (multi-state licensure preferred).
• Prior teleradiology or remote work experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret a high volume of diagnostic studies remotely across X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound and other modalities.
• Deliver prompt, accurate, and well-documented reports to referring clinicians across locations.
• Communicate critical findings directly with providers via secure channels.
• Collaborate with technologists and staff virtually to ensure protocol adherence and image quality.
• Use PACS, RIS, and cloud-based teleradiology systems to manage and review cases.
• Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and virtual team meetings.
• Maintain licensure and compliance documentation for multiple states.
• Adhere to HIPAA and data security standards in a remote environment.
• Contribute to a consistent workflow with no required weekend or evening shifts.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of ACR guidelines and structured reporting.
