Job summary

LanguageLine Solutions is seeking a remote, work-from-home Rade Interpreter in the United States. This independent contractor role focuses on on-demand interpretation across healthcare, government, insurance, and other sectors.

Training is provided and advancement opportunities exist within a certified ISO environment. The role emphasizes cultural sensitivity, quick processing of information, and maintaining a professional demeanor on calls of varying complexity.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Rade and English and skilled in the associated cultural dynamics.
• Ability to provide cultural competency and assess regional and accent differences to communicate with LEP.
• Excellent listening, retention and note-taking skills to maintain high accuracy in interpretation.
• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Respond to interpreting sessions promptly and professionally.
• Render concepts according to interpretation protocol without omissions or additions.
• Speak clearly in both languages using proper pronunciation and polite expressions.
• Maintain professionalism and calm on calls, including emergency 911 sessions.
