Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking a Chemist to evaluate AI chemical reasoning, identify unsafe or incorrect steps, and craft accurate responses for trained chemists. You’ll write prompts that probe mechanisms, review generated solutions, and supply corrected analyses with appropriate conditions and safety considerations.

The role requires a graduate-level chemistry background or equivalents, comfort across organic, inorganic, or physical chemistry, and clear written English.

• Clear written English: explanations are the training signal.

Responsibilities

• Write prompts that probe chemical reasoning: mechanisms, syntheses, and analytical interpretation.
• Review AI output for impossible mechanisms, unsafe procedures, and misread spectra; rate the reasoning.
• Write the correct answer when the model falls short, with proper attention to conditions and safety.
