Job summary

MC² Education is seeking a versatile Research & Evaluation Analyst to contribute to rigorous quantitative studies including RCTs and QEDs, while supporting project coordination and qualitative work. The role requires strong statistical programming skills and the ability to shift between independent analysis and collaborative project work.

The position is remote with flexible hours (30-35 hours per week) and an hourly rate of approximately $50/hour for a 1099 consultant.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in quantitative social sciences or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional quantitative research experience.
  • Proficiency in R or Stata with reproducible code.
  • Experience analyzing survey data from raw data to tables/figures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Clean, manage, and analyze quantitative data using R or Stata with reproducibility.
  • Conduct descriptive, inferential, and multivariate analyses including RCTs and QEDs.
  • Independently analyze survey data and prepare clear tables and figures.
  • Collaborate with senior researchers on study design and analytic strategy.
  • Data validation, QA; prepare codebooks, analytic datasets, and scripts.
  • Contribute to qualitative interviews, literature reviews, and data collection.
  • Support day-to-day project execution, tracking tasks and communicating with partners.
  • Summarize findings and contribute to reports, briefs, and presentations.
