Job summary

M9 Solutions is seeking a Quantitative Engineer / Python Developer to support a federal contract, working remotely for a client in San Antonio, TX.

The role requires 2+ years of Python for quantitative modeling, strong math/statistics, experience with financial data, and familiarity with AWS. You will develop models, run analyses, and integrate within the client's plug-in framework on AWS-hosted infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Python for quantitative or statistical modeling, building and applying models.
• Strong mathematics and statistics background, including probability, distributions, regression, and time series.
• Experience with financial or market data.
• Working knowledge of AWS and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Write quantitative and statistical functions in Python inside the client's plug-in framework.
• Build and validate models and perform signals and analyses on financial data.
• Run work against the framework’s test suite and deliver on defined project scopes.
• Work on AWS-hosted infrastructure.
