inHance, a division of Harris, seeks a Quality Assurance Analyst to enhance our Research & Development team. The ideal candidate will plan, execute, and interpret test plans while scripting automated tests for web and desktop apps using TestComplete and ReadyAPI.

This remote role welcomes candidates in the US and Canada, travel ~5% as needed, and prefers EST or CST time zones. Compensation ranges 65K–75K, with strong benefits and growth opportunities within Harris' software ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and QA.
• 3+ years of experience in software development QA.
• Experience with MS SQL.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences: release notes, slides/documents to assist sales and marketing.
• Experience with test case generation for both manual and automated testing.
• Experience building automated test cases using TestComplete and SQL.
• Experience with bug-tracking systems such as Jira or DevOps.
• Accountability, respect, integrity, and discipline are core values. Able to meet responsibilities without constant supervision.
• Ability to work independently but also work well as a team player and constantly communicate with your team to ensure department goals are achieved.
• Interest in continuously improving team practices and processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met
• Analyze, recommend, and configure tools to be used for quality assurance
• Writing and maintaining automated test suites for front-end and back-end components using TestComplete and ReadyAPI
• Installing and configuring test environments
• Develop and maintain existing scripts to refresh testing environments
• Collect metrics to measure the quality of our products over time
• Collaborate with the development team and the rest of QA team to improve software quality

inHance, a division of Harris; is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst who will bring seasoned quality assurance expertise to enhance the capabilities of our Research & Development team.

With a minimum of three years in the QA field, the ideal candidate will be proficient at planning, executing, and interpreting test plan. Experience in scripting automated tests for both web and desktop applications is crucial, along with a robust understanding of tools like TestComplete, ReadyAPI, and programming languages such as C# and SQL. Looking ahead, we anticipate that you will lead the charge in integrating innovative tools and methodologies to elevate inHANCE's QA practices. This remote role welcomes candidates anywhere in Canada and the US. Travel is required as needed, approximately 5%. Candidates must hold a current, valid passport and be legally eligible to travel internationally. Preference will be given to candidates who can work in EST or CST timezone.

• Ability to lead, delegate and coordinate QA activities to service multiple development teams.
• Ability to read C#/SQL code and assist developers in identifying root cause code sections.

• Experience with build automation and packaging.
