Ninth Brain is seeking a QA Software Analyst in Michigan for remote work with mandatory in-person quarterly meetings. Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $68,000 annually. Applicants must reside in Michigan and be prepared to attend team events and meetings in person.

The role emphasizes quality championing across our software platform and excellent user experience. Primary duties include planning and executing tests, collaborating with developers and project managers, and driving process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field.
• 2-4 years of software testing or quality assurance experience.
• 6+ months of remote work experience.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and testing types.
• Experience gathering requirements to define testing objectives.
• Proficiency in debugging techniques.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience testing in the .NET framework.
• Understanding of DevOps in the software lifecycle.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and collaboration.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Self-motivated and results-driven.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance & Testing: develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to identify defects.
• Collaboration: work with PMs, Developers, and Designers to integrate features.
• Problem Solving: identify and track defects and coordinate with the dev team.
• Process Improvement: enhance QA processes with industry best practices.
• Reporting: deliver clear reports on testing outcomes and impact.
• Client Focus: ensure final product meets client expectations and user experience.
