Job summary

Hyqoo is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to contribute to building and deploying scalable Python-based applications. This remote contract role emphasizes clean, maintainable code and collaboration within cross-functional product and engineering teams.

You will design and implement backend services, participate in code reviews, and work with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud platforms to deliver reliable, data-driven solutions. Strong Python, Django/Flask, and CI/CD experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Hands-on with Django or Flask.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar).
• Experience with data engineering tools (Kedro and Databricks).
• Strong Docker and Kubernetes knowledge.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, testing, and deployment practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software applications and backend solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable Python code following best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate requirements.
