Job summary

K-Recruiting GmbH is seeking a Microsoft Purview Administrator / Data Security Specialist (M/F/D) for a 3-month, full-time remote assignment with international collaboration. This role focuses on configuring Purview, implementing protection controls, and managing data lifecycle across Microsoft 365 workloads to strengthen security and compliance.

Ideal candidates have extensive Purview experience in enterprise environments, proficiency with sensitivity labels, DLP, eDiscovery, and audit

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft Purview within enterprise Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong expertise in Purview components including Sensitivity Labels, DLP, Retention Policies, Audit, eDiscovery, Information Protection and Data Lifecycle Management.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 security and compliance concepts, including governance and information security.
• Fluent English; experience in international or regulated environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Configure and administer Microsoft Purview to support secure Microsoft 365 environments and data protection initiatives.
• Implement and validate Purview controls for information protection, compliance, and secure collaboration.
• Configure sensitivity labels, auto-labeling, label policies, and data protection settings across Microsoft 365 workloads.
• Design and optimize DLP policies for Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and endpoints.
• Analyze security posture using Purview tools such as Data Security Posture Management, Activity Explorer, Content Explorer, and Audit Logs.
• Support risk identification and remediation for data exposure, excessive permissions, sensitive content, and misconfigurations.
