Job summary

Public Consulting Group is seeking a Consultant to support and lead projects in EMS, fire services, healthcare financing, and Medicaid reimbursement. You will work directly with state agencies, local governments, and providers to analyze policy and financial challenges and deliver practical, data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities include managing client relationships, developing reports, leading workstreams, and supporting business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred in related field.
• Five or more years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in public-sector consulting, healthcare financing, EMS/fire services, or reimbursement.
• Experience managing client-facing projects and delivering technical deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Reviews EMS and public-sector consulting operations and becomes SME.
• Evaluate client programs and develop recommendations for improvement.
• Analyze federal/state laws, regulations, reimbursement methodologies.
• Lead projects, manage staff, and ensure timely deliverables.
• Facilitate client meetings and stakeholder discussions.
• Lead proposal development and client-facing reports.
• Conduct research on healthcare reimbursement and cost reporting.
• Monitor policy developments and advise clients accordingly.
