Placements24 is seeking a Remote Public Health Sanitation Specialist for a nonprofit public health organization. The role focuses on developing and implementing sanitation strategies, creating educational resources, and advising stakeholders from a remote setting.

You will monitor initiatives via digital platforms and occasional site visits when needed, collaborating with local officials and community groups.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, Sanitation Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in public health with environmental sanitation focus.
• Strong understanding of public health principles, epidemiology, and program management.
• Experience in developing educational materials and conducting training.
• Proficiency in data analysis with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R) is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects remotely.
• Familiarity with virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Teams) and office software.

Responsibilities
