Job summary

Cognia is offering a 14-week externship for PhD students in psychometrics or related fields. The program is primarily remote, with an in-person Cognia session in Portsmouth, NH. Interns will work ~20 hours per week on a research project and gain access to Cognia resources and seminars.

Applicants must be enrolled in a relevant doctoral program in the United States and have completed at least two years of coursework prior to start. A resume and a one-page research interest statement are required.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a relevant doctoral program.
• Completed at least 2 years of coursework toward the doctorate prior to the externship start date.

Responsibilities

• Work on a research project suitable for presentation at a national conference.
• Participate in regular Zoom meetings with mentors for goal setting and progress monitoring.
• Attend seminars from Cognia psychometricians and related groups to learn psychometric practices.
