Job summary

Rula is seeking licensed psychiatrists (MD/DO) to join our network as independent contractors, handling the administrative work while you focus on patient care. You’ll provide diagnostic assessments, medication management, and evidence-based care via telehealth, with flexible scheduling and support from our care coordination teams.

You’ll enjoy hassle-free bi-weekly pay and compensation add-ons for follow-up psychotherapy when applicable, while Rula manages credentialing, billing, and marketing

Qualifications

• Board-certified Psychiatrist with active, unrestricted state medical license.
• Valid, unrestricted state DEA registration with Schedules II–V.
• No adverse actions, disciplinary history, or license restrictions with any state medical board, hospital, or credentialing body in the past 3–5 years.
• No suspension, exclusion, or debarment from federal healthcare programs (Medicare/Medicaid).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments for patients seeking mental healthcare, including diagnostic assessments, psychiatric workups, and treatment planning, including medication management.
• Work with individuals who are struggling with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction.
• Have access to our EHR & telehealth platform.
• Receive support from our Support and Care Coordination teams.
• Have adequate time to engage with patients - half-hour sessions for follow-up visits and 1 hour for initial consultations.
• Be free to focus on patient care. Rula Mental Health takes care of all the credentialing, billing, and marketing.
