Job summary

Centene Corp. is seeking a Provider Engagement Account Manager to maintain strong partnerships between the health plan and contracted provider networks.

The role emphasizes consultative account management, issue resolution, and driving performance in quality and cost utilization. You will act as the primary contact for providers, educate on policies, and manage network performance across the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in managed care, provider relations, or quality improvement.
• Proficient understanding of HEDIS/quality measures and cost/utilization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain partnerships between the health plan and provider networks.
• Serve as primary liaison and triage provider issues with internal teams.
• Educate providers on policies for referrals and claims submission.
• Lead provider orientations and ongoing education materials.
• Evaluate network performance and develop plans to improve outcomes.
• Travel locally up to four days a week as needed.
