Job summary

WPS Health Solutions is seeking a Provider Contract Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of provider and vendor agreements, negotiating terms, drafting agreements, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role focuses on collaboration with independent providers, health systems, and networks to drive value.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in contracting or provider relations, with strong communication and analytical skills to influence stakeholders and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of contracting, provider relations, or network development experience.
• Proven experience in contract negotiations.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned providers.
• Negotiate and execute provider contracts, including rates and terms, per regulatory requirements.
• Analyze contract performance and provider data to ensure alignment with cost, quality, utilization, and member satisfaction.
• Educate providers on policies, tools, and resources to improve collaboration and experience.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve provider issues and drive process improvements.
• Support strategic initiatives and contracting innovations while ensuring system configuration accuracy.
