Job summary

PennyMac Corp. is seeking a Staff Appraiser to perform desk review analysis on property valuation products ordered for its business transactions. You will collaborate with appraisal management companies to refine valuations as needed.

The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, 5+ years of residential appraisal experience, and USPAP knowledge. This position offers remote work and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Current certification to perform residential appraisals.
• Prior field experience performing residential property appraisals.
• Functional upstanding of USPAP regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform desk review of property valuation products and justify in writing any value conclusions that differ from the valuation.
• Provide guidance to other staff members regarding property valuation strategies.
• Meet all service levels pertaining to the property valuation strategies.
• Keep management apprised of any concerns regarding the performance of an appraiser, the appraisal management company or any part of the property valuation process.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
• Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values.
