Job summary

Humana Inc. seeks a Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives across Medicaid programs, ensuring on-time, within-scope delivery aligned with organizational goals.

You will collaborate with clinical, operational, technology, compliance, and business leaders to drive successful implementation while proactively mitigating risks. This remote role requires EST hours and up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5 years of relevant work experience.
• 3+ years of project management experience from initiation to completion.
• Experience with PM methodologies, governance, and at least one tool (Planner/Project/Asana/Monday).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Availability to work in Eastern Time Zone hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, and outcomes.
• Define scope, timelines, deliverables, and success metrics aligned to goals.
• Monitor performance, manage risks and issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Facilitate governance, reporting, and stakeholder communications for transparency.
• Partner with clinical, operational, technology, compliance, vendor, and business leaders to gather requirements and drive alignment.
• Coordinate cross-functional implementation and process improvements for readiness and adoption.
• Manage forecasting, compliance, and governance adherence.
• Apply PM best practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
