Hixson Architecture Engineering Interiors in Cincinnati seeks a Project Architect with strong technical design leadership for its Food & Beverage team. You will lead design and documentation for large-scale facilities and mentor staff, collaborating with engineers, PMs, and clients to deliver excellence on projects up to $500 million.

The role emphasizes growth in Food & Beverage design within a collaborative culture that values technical excellence and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Architecture (or equivalent) required; US registration preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in Food & Beverage facility design.
• Proficiency in Revit; experience with integrated, multidisciplinary project teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-starter able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and documentation for large-scale food and beverage facilities.
• Coordinate effectively with engineering disciplines, project managers, and clients.
• Apply knowledge of Food & Beverage design standards and code compliance across all phases.
• Guide production teams using Revit and ensure adherence to standards.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to quality assurance.
• Support business development through technical input and project expertise.
