Job summary

Brown and Caldwell, a Walnut Creek-based environmental engineering firm, is seeking a Program Manager for Data & AI Applications. The role supports planning and delivery of large programs with governance, risk, and stakeholder management across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include leading complex assignments, coordinating software delivery lifecycles, and mentoring junior staff. This remote position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or higher in engineering, construction, business management or related field.
Program management certification or plan to obtain within 12 months.
Experience coordinating software development teams and delivery cadences.
Experience using delivery tools to track backlog, releases, risks, and dependencies.
Strong written and verbal communication across stakeholders.
Experience in regulatory or compliance-driven environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead assignments on complex projects and programs.
Apply program management services to deliver client solutions.
Drive planning, initiation, delivery, and closeout activities.
