Job summary

Hearst Newspapers is seeking a Production Editor to support sports coverage and general editorial layouts for print. You will handle page layout, wire decisions, copy editing, and caption writing, ensuring timely delivery and quality across Hearst papers.

You should be adept at headlines, photo selection, and page proofing, with strong English literacy and customer-service focus. Remote work is possible in this role across Hearst markets.

Qualifications

• Experience in print news production.
• Ability to work with multiple products and people with a customer-service focus.
• Savvy to finish and typeset a page on time.
• CUE/CCI experience is a plus.
• Excellent literacy in English.
