Job summary

Veeam Software is seeking a Remote Security Engineer III to strengthen and scale secure software development practices across cloud-native, enterprise, and AI-enabled product environments. You will work with Product Security, Engineering, DevOps, and Platform teams to identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities throughout the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Product Security, Application Security, DevSecOps, or Vulnerability Management.
• 3+ years hands‑on with application security testing tools (SAST, DAST, SCA).
• 2+ years in vulnerability management, including triage and remediation coordination.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage security risks related to dependencies, CVEs, and third‑party components.
• Triage and validate vulnerabilities across apps, containers, and infra; prioritize by impact.
• Coordinate patch management with Release Engineering and DevOps teams.
• Support and expand Security Champion program with developers to improve secure coding.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and automate vulnerability scanning and reporting.
• Create playbooks, docs, and education to promote self‑service security.
• Contribute to threat modeling and secure SDLC process improvements.
