Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Product Management Lead to guide the Business Technology team's digital product initiatives. You will define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps, working closely with stakeholders and development teams to deliver measurable value aligned with organizational goals.

The role emphasizes business-facing collaboration, translating needs into actionable outcomes and driving adoption of digital solutions across the firm. 10% travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Experience managing software products from concept through launch.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand needs, priorities and tradeoffs.
• Strong knowledge of Agile software development practices and requirements management.
• Translate needs into actionable requirements and deliverables.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving business, technology, marketing and operations.
• Experience with data, analytics, GIS, AI-enabled products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage product vision, strategy and roadmap for digital products.
• Conduct user research and stakeholder interviews to identify needs and opportunities.
• Gather and translate business needs into user stories and use cases for development teams.
• Monitor product adoption and adjust roadmap based on feedback and objectives.
• Collaborate with development teams throughout the product lifecycle from concept to launch.
• Support product launch plans, adoption strategies and go-to-market activities.
• Lead product demonstrations and communications for internal and external audiences.
• Coach and guide team members and coordinate workloads for high-quality delivery.
